JLPT

Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is meant for those who have already studied or are studying Japanese Language and wish to get their knowledge of Japanese tested and certified by the designated Japanese agency namely The Japan Foundation.

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) held twice a year in July & December at  New Delhi Center.

Levels:

N 1: Approximately the same level as the current Level 1 test, but designed to measure slightly more advanced abilities.

N 2: Approximately the same level as the current Level 2 test.

N 3: Positioned at a level bridging the current Level 2 and Level 3 tests.

N4: Approximately the same level as the current Level 3 test.

N5: Approximately the same level as the current Level 4 test.

 

Application Period :

For July Test : March  ( dates will be announced in  the news section)

For December  Test :  July to September ( dates will be announced in the news section)

Online Application Procedure

Simple steps to be followed to apply online.

STEP 1: Preparation before opening the on-line application link

(a) Keep Scanned Image of your Passport size photograph ready for uploading. Scanned image should meet the following specifications:

  • It should be in jpg or jpeg format
  • It should be between 500 KB to 1 MB only
  • Photo Dimension should be dimension ratio of “4:3” only.

(b) Decide on mode of on-line payment of fee (Credit/debit card or net banking). Be ready with password etc. required for the selected mode.

STEP 2: First signup & confirm your e-mail by clicking on the link (received in inbox/spam)

STEP 2: Now open the form, fill it up and pay the fees.

After payment, filled in application form will be shown with a Transaction number. Application without Transaction number will not be considered.

STEP 3: Take a Print out of filled in form. Keep it for your record. You may need it for future reference. You will also receive email at the email address mentioned in the form & also SMS confirming receipt of the application.

Last date of submission: 09th March 2018

Correction/changes in the submitted form are difficult. However if a correction becomes unavoidable it must be conveyed by Email to: mosai.india@gmail.com before 11th March 2018.

 

No corrections/changes will be allowed after 11th of March 2018.
